Curtain facades

This type of TP 52 façade is a traditional system, also known as the Stick system. The fastening of the glass to the support profile is made by a continuous pressure profile, fastened with screws on the outside in a support built into the mullion or transom. The glass is supported on all sides by this profile, which has separation seals to prevent contact between the glass and the metal. A cover profile is applied on the pressure profile and the support.

The thermal break area, together with the large glazing capacity of up to 56 mm, with high-thickness and energy-efficient glass compositions, offers this new range of façades excellent thermal and acoustic performance.

The outer visible section coincides with the inner one, of 52 mm. SG 52 Façade The new generation of façades consisting of a basic system with a wide range of mullions and transoms that provide solutions for all the aesthetic and constructive needs of architectural projects by integral solutions.

The base profiles, with mullions between 16 mm and 250 mm and transoms between 22.5 mm and 255.5 mm, as well as the complementary accessories, are common for the whole range of the new CORTIZO façades. The wide range of profiles and their mechanical joints allows the execution of all types of façades (vertical, inclined, 90º and variable corners, polygonal) and glass modules of large sizes and weights.

This SG 52 façade is a traditional system, also known as the Stick system. The glass is clamped on the support profile. This system requires an insert that is installed in the glass air chamber (U profile). The combination of the clamp and insert allows the glass to be fixed on the four sides.
