The Kömmerling 76 central seal system is such an innovative design that it can be used with modern triple glazing or special functional glazing with panes up to 50 mm thick. Thanks to intelligent fastening technology, the professional installation is fast, clean, and effortless. So, replacing old windows with new modern Kömmerling 76 double seal systems could not be easier.

Even the standard version of the system meets the low energy house requirements – Uf value = 1.0 W(m²K). The intelligent overall design improves thermal and sound insulation and allows you to benefit from better quality of life, cost-effectiveness and security.

Combine shape and colour as you wish. An extensive profile range – with offset and semi offset sash – and various surface finishes offer a great many possibilities. The system is available in white, woodgrain laminates or plain or metallic colours – laminated on the outside and white on the inside or laminated on both sides. In addition, Kömmerling 76 is available with the innovative surface technology proCoverTec in a further 26 colours.

Since not all colours are created equal and the trend towards coloured PVC-U windows is constantly growing, Kömmerling AcrylColor is now available. This is PMMA, in other words polymethyl methacrylate, a thermoplastic. A heat treatment process creates a robust, homogeneous coloured acrylic layer. Kömmerling AcrylColor acts like a protective shield and guarantees long-lasting colour fastness and high scratch resistance for windows. The refined, satin appearance is exceptionally easy to clean and virtually maintenance-free.

This system also sets an example from the ecological viewpoint – the Kömmerling brand was the first major manufacturer in the world to produce profiles not only with regrinds in virgin window PVC-U, but also exclusively with lead-free PVC with “green” stabilisers based on calcium and zinc.
